In the 1870s and early 1880s, if you had a Sharps buffalo rifle, you had the pride of the plains, because of that rifle's style, accuracy, power, reliability and ruggedness. Cimarron's "Pride of the Plains" model is a Sharps replica any rifleman would be proud to own. This .45-70 caliber arm features a head-turning coin nickel receiver and high polished blued, 30-inch octagon barrel, fitted to a beautiful hand checkered pistol grip stock with the classic Bridgeport-type, Schnabel forearm. The Creedmoor rear sight and tunnel front sight with inserts offer some of the best in iron sight optics. Cimarron's Pride of the Plains will surely be the pride of your collection!
